I have been on Classmates.com and I found your blog. Thank you for creating it. I was surprised to find this poem and it made me relive my 1968-1970 Vietnam experience. I was pretty non-descript in high school and missed getting my photo taken. My big brother Steven is in there along with my big sister Judy, but I was off in the ozone. I used to pal around with Eric Criswell and Gail Olds was a good friend. However, I dropped out my junior year and joined the Marine Corps in May 1968 and was in Vietnam in October 1968 as an infantyman. Crazy, huh? I did a tour and then went back again...came home in spring of 1970.
I remember you as popular and happy. I'm glad you have had wonderful adventures. God Bless you and yours.

Hi 1969 Classmates! After the 40 year reunion, I thought it would be fun to find out more about the class of 1969. Unfortunately, in the last two years very few classmates have shared their biographies, and my email contact list was limited to start. I hope this incomplete list of memories and people will bless whoever reads it. Gail Burton Purath
